Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg RN in Hayward, Wisconsin, 54843! Pay Information
$2,150 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS
required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience with post-surgical
and general medical patients Description: The position is for a
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical. The unit has a
capacity of 25 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is an average of
1:4. Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical cases, cardiac,
pulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal, and urology conditions.
Titration of medications such as Heparin, insulin, intravenous
fluids, electrolytes, diltiazem, antibiotics, and occasionally
dopamine and TPN may be required. There are no monitor techs on the
unit. A House Supervisor is always available, but they are not
required to take assignments. Nurse aids are present on the unit
with a ratio of two for day shifts and 1.5 for evening shifts.
Respiratory therapy assistance is available as needed.
Self-scheduling is not permitted; however, block scheduling can be
requested. Every other weekend is required for staff. Holiday
commitment is also required. There is no standby or call
requirement. Floating to other units is not required. The dress
code includes charcoal or pewter gray scrubs, any style.
Orientation is based on the individual's experience. The charting
