Title: Monitor Tech Profession: Technician Specialty: Monitor Tech
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Any 8-hour shifts, including weekends
Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Experience in a health-related
field Description: Assists with the technical and non-technical
aspects of cardiac monitoring of patients over age 18 who are on
telemetry. Troubleshoots the monitoring equipment. Is knowledgeable
in all functions of monitoring equipment. Recognizes heart rhythms.
Communicates changes in heart rhythms. Prepares patients for
monitoring. Requires experience in a health-related field. This
position involves an 8-hour day/night rotation and includes
weekends, with no on-call duties. Requirements Required for
