Behavior Technicians provide daily support for children and adolescence with autism by engaging in direct support, teaching new skills, managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement skills, and building positive relationships with the clients we serve.Behavior Technician Salary: $19.00 $23.00 per hour and a Comprehensive Benefit Package which includes:401(k) with employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision InsuranceLife insuranceVoluntary STD, LTD, Additional Life InsuranceFlexible schedulePaid time offPaid Holidays, including 1 choice holidayEmployee Assistance ProgramCommunity Service time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programAs a Behavior Technician (BT), you will:Receive thorough, paid training and ongoing supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Provide 1:1 therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults with ASD or similar conditionsUtilize discrete trial teaching, prompting, behavior reduction techniques, and more to support individuals in achieving independenceCollect, record, and summarize data using company-provided devices and cutting-edge technologyBe part of a team that values collaboration, ongoing training and education, work ethic, and community engagementYou may be the right fit for this position as a Behavior Technician if you (minimum qualifications):Have a high school diploma or equivalentPass a background checkHave reliable transportationAre willing to complete mandatory Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and pass the required exam within 90 days of hire the company reimburses for this training and exam!Participate in the required monthly supervision.Will complete company-provided de-escalation trainingMeet the physical demands of a job that requires you to actively engage with children and assist in daily living activities such as toileting and feedingAre passionate about working with youth on skills such as communication, social skills, and behavior managementYou are absolutely the right fit for this position if you (preferred qualifications):Have a bachelor's degree in a human services field such as psychology, physical/occupational/speech therapy, education, and other related fieldsHave prior experience as a Behavior TechnicianHave experience working with children with ASD or other developmental, behavioral, or intellectual disabilitiesAre planning to pursue a career in the behavioral health field and want to gain invaluable experience as well as mentorship from professionals in the fieldJob Type:Full-time (30 + hours per week is considered full time/benefit eligible) Typical scheduled hours are 37.5 hours per weekPart-time (typical work schedule is 8am-12:30pm or 12pm-4pm)Medical Specialty:PediatricsSchedule:Monday to Friday8am-4pmWork Location: 55901New employee start dates are contingent upon employee background study (fingerprinting may be required), funding sources paperwork completion, and any additional requirements imposed by federal, state, or local law, or funding sources requirements.
