This position is responsible for the Medicare and MDS process. An ideal candidate will appreciate a collaborative team of professionals whose primary focus is caring for the individual and touching the lives of families. If you are a motivated caregiver who knows the importance of providing excellent care to our residents and patients, you will thrive working with our multidisciplinary team.Additional responsibilities of the MDS Coordinator include:Providing a final quality check prior to MDS transmission.Directing and assisting resident or patient and family education with coworkers.Orientating new nurses to the RAI process and providing retraining when necessary.Additional requirements of the MDS Coordinator include:Current active and valid Licensure in MinnesotaCertified through AANAC as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) or ability to achieve upon employment.Experience with MDS 3.0 and current Medicare guidelines.PR Certification or ability to achieve upon employment.Excellent communication and hospitality skills.Basic computer skills.Benefits we offer:Competitive rate of payAffordable health and dental insurance,Free life insurance,Paid time off, and extra pay for holidaysWe are looking forward to hearing from you!'We believe the work that we do is a privilege.
