Enbridge is looking for a Sr Project Controls Advisor - Cost to provide technical leadership in monitoring, controlling, and reporting on the cost-related aspects of Core projects. This includes ensuring that costs for assigned projects are identified, accounted for, and reported in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the company's established business practices and procedures.

What you will do:

• Collecting information for project cost estimates, establishing control budgets, monitoring and control of incurred project costs, cost forecasting, cost variance analysis and cost reporting to various internal partners.
  
• Provide capital cost control, analysis, and reporting requirements for multiple complex and multi-disciplined core projects.
  
• Work with Portfolio Reporting to ensure proper reporting on projects.
  
• Enhance and train other PCA's on new procedures and processes.
  
• Ensure all projects are reported on timely and accurately.

  Who you are:
  
  • University degree, diploma or related construction or engineering experience.
    
  • 7 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
    
  • Project Management Professional designation and/or AACE certification are assets.
    
  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form. This includes the ability to work well with peers, internal and external partners.
    
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks, take initiative and to work with minimal level of supervision.
    
    
    Working Conditions:
    
    • Office environment.
      
    • 5% of travel may be required.

      Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
      Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

      Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
