Job Description Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union (MPECU) is currently seeking a FT Member Service Representative to join our energetic, friendly team! As a Member Service Representative, you will be the main point of contact for each member you interact with in person or over the phone. This position provides a number of paying and receiving functions for members including: processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, money orders, and wire transfers. Member Service Representatives will also assist with opening new accounts, conducting account maintenance, and account closures. Member Service Representatives contribute to the success of the credit union by actively cross-selling products and services that benefit its members. As a Member Service Representative, you will gain the knowledge required to understand various federal regulations as well as policies and procedures to ensure credit union compliance. Preferred skills for this position include customer service and cash handling (previous bank or credit union experience is a plus).
