JOB SUMMARYThe Facilities Services Contract Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, oversight, development, solicitation, tracking, and reporting of approximately eighty (80) service contracts and contractor performance assessments. Under the approval and direction of the Director of Facilities, this position is also responsible for receiving, recording and coding invoices and contractor pay requests. The Facilities Services Contract Coordinator also supports Security staff in the following processes: ID Badge production and system maintenance, parking permits, and locker assignments.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Associate Degree from business or technical school. Experience: Two (2) years clerical/administrative support experience. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/APREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation: N/AExperience: Previous experience related to the oversight and coordination of service contracts.Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/AKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; to exercise good judgment, make independent decisions within Hospital guidelines and accept personnel responsibilities; to establish and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers; clerical and general office principles, including computer skills; ability to use camera equipment and software programs; attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills; ability to perform detailed work independently.READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.SPEAKING - Basic: Ability to speak simple sentences.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to walk, see, sit, stand, reach, crouch and to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.Stand - Occasionally Under 1/3 (1-2.5 hours)Walk - Occasionally Under 1/3 (1-2.5 hours)Sit - Continuously Over 2/3 (5.5 - 8 hours)Use hands to finger, handle, or feel - Continuously Over 2/3 (5.5 - 8 hours)Reach with hands and arms - Continuously Over 2/3 (5.5 - 8 hours)Stoop, Squat, Kneel, or Crouch - Occasionally Under 1/3 (1-2.5 hours)Bending-repetitive forward - Occasionally Under 1/3 (1-2.5 hours)Talk or hear - Continuously Over 2/3 (5.5 - 8 hours)LIFTING REQUIREMENTSUp to 10 pounds - Frequently 1/3 to 2/3 (2.5 - 5.5 hours)Up to 25 pounds - Occasionally Under 1/3 (1-2.5 hours)WORK ENVIRONMENTTypical Noise Level - Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic)WORKING CONDITIONSTypical business office environment, with occasional exposure to hot/cold areas.
