Applicants may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to
Deliver licensed practical Nursing care with in the LPN scope of
practice, as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, for
residents. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to
promote the well being, health and safety of residents in a
person-centered, long term care environment.
- Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse*, in good
- Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and
take legible notes
- Current Basisc Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary
- If you are not currently licensed in Minnesota as a Practical
Nurse, you must be able to obtain licensure by date of hire.
- Experience working in a long term care environment
- Experience working with Veterans
Perform a variety of movements throughout the day such as
walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, stooping, lifting,
carrying, reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check
will be conducted on finalists for this position. Finalists must
pass the DHS background check
A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required
prior to employment
