Pall Corporation is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer for the
Timonium, MD location. This role will provide quality assurance
services to ensure the integrity of products received and shipped
out, services provided to clients, support business and customer
needs, and align with government regulations, industry and OpCo
standards. Sr. Quality Engineer will be involved with supplier
selection & auditing, material qualification, material inspection
and test, performance monitoring and supplier development. Involved
in leading process and product non-conformances in line with
company procedures. Other responsibilities may include:
Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure product specifications
Review, investigate, resolve and report on quality
Develop, maintain, lead, and audit quality management system and
protocols including systems automation, processes, and procedures
that ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Supervise, investigate, and report on customer complaints.
Obtain the integral quality system certifications and licenses
(e.g. ISO, CE) to support market release of new product
- Lead audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and
inspection findings. May have frequent interaction with other
functional areas and operating entities.
Sr. Quality Engineer assures the quality of processes and
products by performing audits, inspections, tests, defect analysis,
trend analysis, programming & troubleshooting inspection equipment,
calibration maintenance, and reporting on results of measurement
standards. Assures consistent quality of suppliers and production
by validating processes; providing documentation from measurement
analysis, and helping departments understand the interpretation of
Lead and coordinate customer quality complaint resolution with
manufacturing plant. Direct interface to customer to retrieve
accurate complaint information. Arrange samples for manufacturing
plant analysis. Register complaints in Pilgrim, track and closure.
Own the manufacturing plant for root cause investigation. Review
CAPA from manufacturing plant to resolve robustness. Work with
manufacturing plant to define customer acceptable CAPA.
Review 8D from manufacturing plant. Customize customer version
of 8D (in local language if needed) report.
Understand & filter sensitive and IP related information.
Present 8D report directly to customer (face to face if
Work with manufacturing plant for any follow up requests and
data from customer.
Ensure closure of complaints.
Direct interface to customer to retrieve accurate
Provide speedy responses to customers based on his/ her
knowledge about the manufacturing.
Work with manufacturing plants to provide the appropriate
responses to customers.
If needed, arrange samples to manufacturing plants or SLS for
- Provide responses or presentation directly to customers (face
to face if needed).
