JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Wilderness Health Executive Director and with the input of the telehealth committee and stakeholders, the Telehealth Program Manager is responsible for the overall development and operations of the establishment of a new Telehealth Program. The PM will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, business development and implementation of the new telehealth program from inception to execution. This is a key role in defining the program model including the strategy, acquisition and development of technologies and the establishment of telehealth services and initiatives at Wilderness Health Member health systems with an overarching focus of impacting population health management. The PM will regularly interface and collaborate with health care leaders, physicians and staff in cross-functional areas including information technology, human resources, business development/accounting services, medical staff development, quality improvement, care coordination, population health, case management and other clinical support units. Collaborates and networks with external stakeholders by building strategic relationships with other provider networks, payers, local/state/regional government, and regulatory agencies and with community organizations to support and promote the telehealth program. This is a grant funded position that will total 3 years. Some travel to member hospitals throughout northeast Minnesota will be required. Travel is estimated to be 30%. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor#s degree in health or business related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years previous experience with new program development and/or telehealth. Licensure/Certification: N/A PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: N/A Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification: N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must possess program development or telehealth experience and a degree in a health or business related field. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to problem-solve and relate effectively in a professional and compassionate manner. Must possess the ability to collaborate with community members as well as Wilderness Health team. Must be a progressive, organized, creative self-starter who is able to develop ideas independently while being flexible to change. Must have ability to travel. READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures. SPEAKING - Advanced: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, top management, public groups, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
