What Youll Contribute to OHM Advisors
The Construction Technician requires working with a
multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and technicians.
This position involves day-to-day interfacing with contractors,
project team members, our clients, and other technical experts and
disciplines regarding project-related items. The ideal candidate
will have a minimum of 3 years of construction experience and be
able to work as part of a team. An opportunity exists for a variety
of project experiences and potential for advancement.
Perform daily field inspections of construction work and prepare
daily work reports Interpret construction drawings and
specifications on construction projects Determine if unforeseen
project field conditions require a change to the construction
Track and record as-built information for incorporation into
project record drawings Communicate with contractors and project
team throughout the life of the project.

What Youll Need to Succeed
High-school diploma or equivalent required with an Associates
degree or completion of a technical trade school in drafting,
construction lab, engineering technology, surveying, or drafting
Applicants must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and a
Construction field certifications including MCA Level 1and MDOT
Density is a plus.
Previous underground infrastructure and roadway inspection
experience is a plus.
MDOT Fieldbook experience is a plus.
Employment requires the applicant to have a current Valid Drivers
