What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors This position involves day-to-day interfacing with project team members, with our clients, contractors, and other technical experts and disciplines regarding project-related items. All while utilizing various CADD programs to create HVAC and plumbing drawings. An opportunity exists for a variety of project experiences and the potential for advancement in the organization. Your Responsibilities Work with engineers to complete project documents in AutoCAD MEP and REVIT accurately and on-time Coordinate with other disciplines while developing drawings. Engage with a team for project collaboration Develop construction plans in AutoCad and Revit as directed by Engineer. Read existing mechanical and plumbing drawings and understand existing systems. Develop and work in Excel spreadsheets. What You'll Need to Succeed An Associate's degree or experience in mechanical engineering technology or related field is preferred. Will consider individuals with 3 to 5 years of experience in the installation of mechanical systems. Experience in HVAC design or installation with experience in energy-efficient design for new buildings and retrofits a plus. Projects will require working with a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and technicians and will range from preliminary engineering to final design/construction documents and field inspection. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook calendaring. Experience in AutoCAD or Revit is preferred. Exceedingly well-organized, flexible, self-sufficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse blend of personalities professionally. Creativity in researching a variety of concepts and finding solutions to complex challenges. Ability to work within a team as well as independently with little supervision.
