Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to be our Shop Supervisor. The shop supervisor will be responsible for running the department and coordinating employees. They will be responsible for our day to day processes to optimize the use of all resources and equipment while meeting and/or exceeding established goals. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles and equipment and supporting functions. Responsibilities: * Plans and distributes daily workflow to drivers and oversees successful completion of tasks * Monitor job efficiencies and develop corrective action * Schedules and administers fleet maintenance * Order fuel /fluid and parts for all vehicles and equipment * Understand expense tracking * Required to perform hands-on work activities * Work independently and with little direction * Ensure DOT inspection compliance * Monitor vehicle service failure history, identify trends and develop actions to prevent failures * Ensure goals and deadlines are met * Monitor and make recommendations to maintain and improve efficiencies * Report any machine or process problems to Manager * Be able to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Perform various other duties as assigned by Management BENEFITS: Offering Union Wages with Union Benefits offered through the Local 49 Union including: * Health Insurance * Retirement Plan * Year-End Performance Bonus * Paid Holidays and Vacation Click on "Apply" to email your resume today.
