Job Description:
Join the committed team of Waste Connections as a Class A
Driver, where your primary role will be to operate heavy vehicles
and equipment in support of our mission to provide comprehensive
waste removal services. As part of a dedicated unit, you will play
a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of
waste from residential, commercial, and industrial sites directly
to waste disposal facilities. This role is vital for maintaining
the cleanliness and environmental integrity of the communities we
serve. At Waste Connections, you are not only taking on a job, but
you are also upholding our commitment to make the planet a cleaner
and safer place. Operate Class A vehicles for waste collection and
transport tasks. Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor
maintenance to ensure operational safety. Adhere strictly to local,
state, and federal regulations regarding waste transportation.
Manage route schedules efficiently to maintain timely pickups and
drop-offs. Coordinate with dispatch and customer service teams to
address any on-route issues. Promote and ensure compliance with
company safety policies and procedures. Proficiency in operating
Class A heavy-duty vehicles. Knowledge of vehicle safety standards
and maintenance practices. Ability to navigate routes efficiently
while adhering to prescribed schedules. Strong organizational and
time management skills. Effective communication abilities for
coordinating with team members and customers. Medical Insurance

Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Air Brake Endorsement desirable.
