Job Description Job Description Description: A Grocery Picker in
our Duluth, MN Distribution center operates a battery-powered
picking machine, either a floor pallet jack or a high lift machine.
The picking order is software driven. A picker wears a headset to
hear and carry out operations given as voice commands. A person
doing this job will physically lift and place case goods on a
pallet and confirm by voice that the pick is complete. Full pallets
will be shrink-wrapped by the picker, labeled, and staged for
distribution. This position is Monday thru Friday,
___3:00PM-11:30PM_____ This position requires an employee to be
able to stand, walk, lift and bend throughout their entire shift.
Employees must be able to physically handle grocery items with
typical weights 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs. Must be able
to hear and respond to computer voice commands Must be able to
speak clearly. Work shifts include late night/ early morning hours.
