Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Must-Have: Experience in
cardiac nuclear medicine and ability to start IVs. Description:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required. ARRT (N) is a bonus
certification but not required. Experience with Philips PACS and
EPIC EMR is preferred. Candidate should confirm housing
arrangements in the area prior to submission. Department has 1 new
Siemens SPECT/CT scanner. No need to float or cover other areas.
Common types of imaging performed include cardiac and routine
nuclear medicine exams. 75% of all exams performed are cardiac
exams. Average number of scans is 35-50 per month. Department
utilizes Philips PACS and EPIC EMR for charting. The only nuclear
medicine technologist will be present in the department. No
registered radiology assistants are utilized. Radiologists are not
in-house 24/7. The technologist must be able to start IVs. Work
schedule is Monday through Friday with early start times available.
No weekend or holiday requirements. Any color scrubs may be worn,
and scrubs are not provided. The department orientation will be
conducted by the director and radiation safety officer. Assistance
with a mobile PET scanner may be required, if time allows.
