Job Description EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIANDuluth, MN - Annual
ED volumes of 42K patients/year in a brand new state-of-the-art 40
bed ED - Large catchment area and a full complement of
collaborative specialists and subspecialists (PICU/NICU teams,
pediatric sub-specialists, neuro-interventional team, STEMI team,
etc) - 8 and 9 hour shifts; double & triple physician coverage with
additional APP support 7 days/week - Admit to St. Mary’s Medical
Center, the region’s tertiary referral center with adult and
pediatric subspecialties; 330-bed hospital and Level I Adult and
Level II Peds Trauma Center - Full spectrum of emergency medicine
care including pediatrics - Opportunity to teach, if interested (FM
residents, medical students) - Supportive and fun work environment
with kind and collaborative consultants - Strong nurses with
excellent nurse retention and mixture of experience as well as new
energy - Excellent behavioral health resources including psychiatry
consult service in ED, social work, case management, safe rooms,
behavioral health techs and nurses - - - REQUIREMENTS - BC/BE
Emergency Medicine - Excellent team player – must work well with
entire ED team, as well as consultants and patients - Strong
commitment to caring for patients both in Duluth and regionally
Compensation: Very competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation
