Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel RRT | Ashland, WI | Nights | 13 Weeks Alto Health Care Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel contract in Ashland. This is a night shift opportunity in a dynamic, independent-setting department. ?? Please confirm housing availability before applying — housing in the area can be limited or costly. Assignment Details: • 13 weeks | 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) • Nights (must be open to schedule flexibility as needed) • Every other weekend • No call • 1 shift (12 hours) department-specific orientation • Charting: EPIC (highly preferred) • Lunch paid on NOCs (working independently) Patient Population & Coverage Areas: • Adults primarily; stabilize peds prior to transfer • Neonates (attend high-risk C-sections, assist with PPV) • ER, SPCU, OB (high-risk C-sections) • Stress Lab, PFT Lab, EEG Lab (may teach if experienced) Experience Required: • Minimum 1 year RRT experience • Mechanical ventilation (Hamilton C1 preferred) including NIV • Inhalation therapies, ABGs, EKGs (ISTAT), Holter setup • NeoPuff experience & ability to assist with high-risk C-sections • RTs assist with intubation (do not intubate independently) Certifications Required: • BLS • ACLS • NRP Equipment includes Hamilton C1 & T1 ventilators and ResMed CPAP/BiPAP. Support available from in-house providers during the day and on-call service at night.
