Job Description:

within correctional facilities and is currently seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse to join our team in a flexible weekday role. This
position is perfect for individuals seeking to balance a career in
healthcare with personal commitments, offering a flexible schedule
with no weekend shifts. The successful candidate will deliver
high-quality medical care to a diverse population of inmates,
adhering to the highest standards of nursing and ethical conduct.
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnose health issues
among inmates. Administer medications, track vaccinations, and
monitor responses to treatments. Collaborate with physicians and
healthcare staff to develop individualized care plans. Maintain
detailed patient health records and ensure confidentiality and
privacy. Provide emergency medical care and first aid as needed.
Educate inmates about preventive healthcare and disease management.
Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, standards, and
regulations within the correctional environment. Proficient in
clinical skills with an ability to handle medical emergencies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong
organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems. Medical Insurance
Current registered nurse license in the state of employment. Basic
Life Support (BLS) certified. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
