Surgical Tech Location: Ashland, WI Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,602 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 75279122 Shift: 8H All 0600, 0900- 8 Hour shifts. Call Description: Unit : Sterile Processing TechHOUSING: Confirm the candidate has looked into housing in the area with the submittal. Leads available.- Required Certifications: CRCST- IAHCSMM- Common Cases: Total joints, ankle/knee scopes, appy, choles, Nissen, bowel resection, hernia, ear tubes, tonsils, sinus, cystos, bladder tumor, dental, podiatry, GI, eye (retina), endoscopy. Endoscopes from clinic.- Department covered/ suits: OR, Clinic, Hospital departments. Endoscopy, uro/ENT.- Experience: MUST be experienced in endoscope GI reprocessing. MUST have 3 years experience, first time travelers ok if they have the needed experience. Prefer experience with Steris, Medivator, and Sterrad. Prefer robotic and eye instrument experience.- Duties: All reprocessing duties. Not accountable for case carts or supply management.- Common equipment to disinfect/common supplies to sterilize: Steris, Medivator, Sterrad.- Manager/Lead Tech: Manager- Shifts & Scheduling: 0600, 0900- 8 Hour shifts. If there is a later case, late shift is expected to stay until finished (doesn't happen often).- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Late shift will stay to cover if needed.- Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 day call about every 8 weeks.- Holiday/Call Requirements: Expected to work on rotation. - Floating Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided- Unit/Department specific orientation: Hospital orientation and the competency sign off in the department- could be up to 2 weeks but generally shorter for a seasoned tech. Cancellation Listed Charting BSN License to Submit:No Trauma Care Shift , 0900- 8 Hour shifts.
