Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Ashland, WI Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,286 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position ID: 75276611 Shift: 8H Days Description: Unit : Respiratory Therapist*Confirm housing has been looked at in the area. It can be challenging to find or too expensive.- treatments per day: 4-8 Treatments per round. - Certs: ACLS BLS NRP- Types of patients: Adults mostly, peds- typically stabilize until transfer. Minimal cases are admitted. Neonates (up to 28 days)- attend high risk c-sections and to assist with PPV if needed before transfer. - What areas do they cover: ER, SPCU, OB with high risk C-Sections, Stress Lab (may teach), PFT lab (may teach), EEG lab (may teach). Outpatient training/competency is dependent on contract length and availability. - Experience: Mechanical ventilation including NIV with Hamilton C1. All types of inhalation therapy, EKGS, ABGs, ISTAT. One year of experience. Highly prefer Epic experience. Neo puff- and able to support high risk c-sections. - Job Duties: Draw ABGs, perform EKGs with the use of ISTAT. Holter monitor set up. - Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? No, just assist.- Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?: Director of Cardiopulmonary.- Shifts & Scheduling: Days and NOCs. NOCs work independently (lunch is paid since you are working alone). Some block schedules have been granted but only a few RTs can have a block schedule as flexibility is essential. Looking for someone that is willing to work days and nights. 6-630 12 hours. Director sets schedule.- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.- Holiday Requirements: If block schedule, work the holiday that it falls on. Expectation is to fill in where needed. - Call or standby call requirement: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color of professional scrubs. - RT Equipment: Hamilton C1s and T1s. ResMed home CPAP/BIPAP.- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: During the day but on-call service "Avel" at night (can assist setting up and managing ventilators. Also have nurses on their team). Clinic docs cover their patients in the hospital. - Department Specific Orientation: 1- 12 hour shift of shadowing. Director will make sure they have access to all systems.
