Job Description:
Job Description: Ready to make an impact? Bring your passion for
fitness and helping others to Essentia Health! We’re looking for a
Fitness Instructor to inspire and support our rural community in
reaching their health and wellness goals. Education Qualifications:
No education requirement Preferred Work Experience: Current
knowledge and experience in teaching various aerobic/fitness
classes, such as: beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of
aquatics, step, spin, kickboxing and/or toning. Key
Responsibilities: Instructing fitness/aquatics classes for members
at the Essentia Health Clinic Fitness & Therapy Center. Developing
and instructing training sessions such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and
more. Performing fitness assessments and consultations Interpreting
and formulating personalized exercise programs for members
Orientate members in safe and proper use of weight and aerobic
equipment, and take care of scheduled maintenance of such equipment
Teach exercise and fitness classes as needed Train new fitness
staff in the policies and procedures of Essentia Health This is a
casual (PRN/as-needed) position at Duluth Fitness and Therapy
Center to fill in open shifts/classes. Licensure/Certification
Qualifications: Current certification in CPR or ability to attain
