Job Description: Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge,
and decision making skills, works independently and in
collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing
health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients
ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related
category and area of expertise. Education Qualifications: NP:
Master's degree in nursing PA: Bachelor’s degree in a
health/science-related field Licensure/Certification
Qualifications: Orthopedic Urgent Care - .6 FTE An NP/PA utilizes
advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills.
They work independently and in collaboration with physicians and
other health care professionals. Advanced Practice Clinicians
provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health
promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients
ranging in age as noted in age-related category and area of
expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills
to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients,
co-workers, and others. We are looking for an experienced NP or PA
with a background in Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent
Care for this dynamic independent practice model position for
Essentia Health. Practice Specifics: Advanced Practitioners will
comprise the core staff, with MD oversight from orthopedics. Free
standing location away from the main campus. 3 exam rooms, a cast
room in addition to state-of-the-art Radiology Suite. VERY
independent practice model with support from onsite radiology tech
and athletic trainer No follow-up care – Initial workup and medical
care only, all follow up care done by referral Work shifts will be
(3) twelve-hour days for a full-time employee or a variation of
these hours. Staffing model is: Monday – Friday 12:00 p.m. – 8:00
p.m. Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hired candidates may be
eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses,
