Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Hayward, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,150 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Hayward, Wisconsin, 54843! Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekend Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - One year of experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome - Ability to titrate drips occasionally - Experience with common titratable drips such as Heparin, insulin, IVF, electrolytes, diltiazem, antibiotics, occasional dopamine, and TPN - Knowledge of electronic charting system EPIC Description: This position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse working weekend nights. The nurse will care for adult patients with post-surgical and general medical conditions such as cardiac, pulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal, and urology issues. The average nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. There is a House Supervisor available at all times to provide support. Nurse aides are present with a staffing ratio of two for the day shift and 1.5 for the evening shift. Respiratory therapy assistance is available when needed, but RNs will support as well. Self-scheduling is not permitted, but block scheduling may be requested. Shifts are 12 hours, with start times at 3:00 AM or 3:00 PM. Weekend and holiday work is required. There is no call or standby requirement, and floating to other units is not necessary. Scrubs provided are charcoal or pewter gray.
