Pay Information $2,686 per week About The Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM call Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years experience in the operating room - Experience with a variety of surgical cases - Proficient in scrubbing procedures - Strong references required Description: The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role involves providing nursing care in the operating room setting. The average number of cases per day is 14. Common cases include total joints, ankle/knee scopes, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, Nissen fundoplication, bowel resection, hernia repairs, ear tubes, tonsillectomy, sinus procedures, cystoscopy, bladder tumor procedures, dental surgeries, podiatry procedures, gastrointestinal procedures, and ophthalmology procedures. Experience with da Vinci Xi surgical systems is strongly desired. Clinicians must be able to respond to call within 20 minutes. Weeknight on-call shifts are typically from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend call is required every 8 to 9 weeks, potentially more frequently during summer months. No floating to other units will be required. The medical facility uses EPIC for electronic medical records. Hospital-provided scrubs will be required.
