Job Description:
Speech-Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) We
are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. In
this role, you will assess and treat residents with speech,
language, voice, and swallowing disorders, helping them regain
essential communication skills and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate residents to determine the nature
and extent of speech, language, or swallowing difficulties. Develop
and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each
resident's needs. Provide therapy sessions focused on improving
communication abilities and addressing swallowing disorders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians,
nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care. Educate
residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support
communication and swallowing improvements. Document assessments,
progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with
healthcare regulations. Work Environment: Work in a Skilled Nursing
