Responsibilities:

--- Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages
--- Meet patients upon arrival and precisely catalogue measurements of the patient's vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
--- Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
--- Work with patients on regular exercise as needed to maintain their mobility level and physical health
--- Sanitize and clean patient's room by rotating sheets, bedpans, and performing general room cleaning


Qualifications:

--- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and nurses to ensure positive relationships are maintained
--- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
--- Should have strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables for wheelchairs and move medical equipment
--- Completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college
--- Proficient computer skills and experience using computer database to ensure patient history is accurately recorded
