Job Description:

Respiratory Therapist - RRT - $7,500 Sign on Bonus

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans, administer treatments, and provide education to patients and their families. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments of patients' respiratory needs, develop care plans, and make recommendations to the healthcare team.
• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments, make adjustments as necessary, and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care, treatment options, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in emergency response and code blue teams as needed. Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license/certification in Minnesota.
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, equipment, and procedures.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • ACLS and BLS certification preferred.
