-Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. -Responds to emergency calls, assists ambulance team in performance of medical services and safe transportation of patients to medical facilities. - This position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others. -This is a Level 1 Trauma, Level II Pediatric, Stroke Certified, STEMI Accredited and chest pain accredited Emergency Department with eight locked behavioral health beds.
Education Qualifications:Qualifications:

• Current nursing licensure in state of employment
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
• ACLS and PALS certification within 1 year
• ENPC and TNCC certification within 2 yearsBe a part of a
