Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a physician (MD or DO) for Emergency Department coverage in Spooner, located in northwestern Wisconsin near the Minnesota border.

PHYSICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES / FACILITY DETAILS

• 
  
• Physician (MD or DO) for PRN locum tenens ER coverage
  
• 12 and 24 hour shifts available
  
• Trauma Level IV
  
• Annual Volume: 7K annual volume (19 patients per 24 hrs)
  
• EMR is EPIC with Dragon
  
• Typical timeline to credential is 60-90 days
  
• $170-200 - $3/hr deduction for malpractice
  
  
  
  PHYSICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Wisconsin medical license
    
  • Board certified or eligible with current Emergency Medicine experience; any board accepted including ABPS
    
  • Medical residents are not accepted at this time
    
  • Required life supports include ACLS or CALS (waived if ABEM certified), ACLS, and PALS
