Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a physician for locum tenens hospitalist coverage in Duluth, located in northeastern Minnesota.



PHYSICIAN DUTIES / FACILITY DETAILS

• 
  
• Order Description:
  
• Locum tenens hospitalist physician (MD/DO)
  
• Shift options: 12hr shifts, 7 day stretch typically. Do have a swing shift from 2p – 12a.
  
• Six hospitalists on staff each day; each hospitalist averages 15 – 18 pts/day; 2 MD nocturnist overnight
  
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
  
  
  
  PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Minnesota medical license and DEA
    
  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine (IM)
    
  • BLS and ACLS life support certifications required
    
  • Hospitalist Experience Required
    
  • Covid and flu vaccinations required, but may accept religious and medical exemptions
