We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Essentia Health Team in our Cardiovascular ICU. You would work as a Manager in a specialized area of the hospital. In this role you will assess, direct, manage, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care and patient support services on a 24-hour basis therein achieving a specified standard of nursing care for the Cardiovascular ICU patient population. You would ensure the existence of streamlined patient care delivery systems, which promote smooth patient transitions across the patient care continuum. Through effective fiscal and operational management you would maintain optimum patient care unit systems, including staffing, scheduling, general resource allocation, and communication systems. In addition you would assure orientation, ongoing education, and development programs are available to expand each staff member's individual capacity for growth. Education Qualifications: Skills: Ability to build strong and trusted relationships, support a positive work environment, effective communication skills, ability to mentor and develop others. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree obtained within 3 years from hire date. Nursing license in appropriate state of employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required or ability to obtain within 1 month. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years' RN experience with proven leadership experience Preferred Experience: Critical care experience.
