Job Overview:JBW Consulting Engineers is searching for a Structural Engineering Manager to join our team. Primary focal points for this position include leading the structural engineering and drafting efforts, day-to day management of the structural engineering department, managing client relationships, and project management.
Applicants should be familiar with applicable codes, best practices, QA/QC regimen, and performance standards and specifications. Up to 15% travel to project sites out of state is required. Strong communication skills with project team and clients are essential.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of junior Project Engineers and Designer/Drafters
• Develop detailed structural designs
• Conduct field visits to ensure construction achieves design intent
• Represent project stakeholders at meeting and conduct meetings when required
• Ability to work on and manage several projects concurrently
• Familiarity with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a structural project engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD or Revit
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • PE required
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • BS degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
