What You Will Be Doing
Role: Responsible for development, implementation, and
administration of all aspects of the Credit Union's Commercial Loan
Operations designed to ensure that documentation, administration,
and overall commercial loan functions function efficiently and
effectively. Manages performance and adherence to key factors for
loan operations that measure compliance with Credit Union policies
and procedures as well as applicable state and federal regulations.
Advises the Credit Union's executive management and VP of
commercial loan operations and servicing functions along with
trends and their regulatory requirements including the
establishment of controls to mitigate risks.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Oversees the development and maintenance of workflows for all
stages of document preparation, closing, file documentation, and
collateral management. Ensures daily operations are conducted
timely, efficiently, accurately, and competently.
Oversees loan file structure and documentation processing
procedures. Maintains and demonstrates proficiency with loan
software applications, including utilizing to the fullest capacity,
streamlining processes and procedures, and ensuring accuracy and
compliance. Ensures effective communication and excellent service
of the department to staff, vendors, and customers. Sets a positive
and productive tone for the department.
Reviews new regulations, policies, and procedures and ensures they
are implemented. Accountable for the understanding of and adherence
to operational controls, policies, procedures, and processes to
ensure compliance with credit union policies and related laws and
