Director of Enterprise Applications & Analytics The Director of Enterprise Applications and Analytics is responsible for the delivery, support, development, and implementation of complex enterprise application systems, both cloud, and on-premise. Reporting to the Vice President of IT and Software, this individual is responsible for leading the enterprise application, data analytics, agile delivery, and QA functions for the IT organization. They will partner with the leaders from Product Ownership and Enterprise Architecture to architect and deliver the IT roadmap for the organization. This individual will need to excel at building agile delivery teams that are able to execute across a diverse portfolio of application and data domains. They are responsible for creating a strong team culture and ensuring the talent management initiatives for the function continue to develop individuals. Objectives:

• Build agile delivery, development, and quality teams, develop employee talent and create a culture the empowers teams to achieve business outcomes in an agile delivery model.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of Enterprise Application, Development, and Analytics teams, directing staff, ensuring team cadence, agile delivery, QA, documentation, and methodologies are being completed efficiently
• Manage a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI, Web, MFG) in support of business objectives while working to modernize the application landscape
• Establish and grow an enterprise wide analytics capability, integrating manufacturing, operations, customer, and Neptune endpoint device data to support business operations and strategy.
• Responsible for the development, implementation, and enhancements of the architectural roadmap toward a modern technology platform, development standards, and QA practices.
• Responsible for balancing investment between solution iteration and innovation, ensuring we explore new technologies (mobility, artificial intelligence, analytics, cloud platforms, etc..), and provide a vision for robust, flexible, scalable enterprise capabilities.
• Partner with the Enterprise Architecture and Product Owner leaders to establish and deliver the Enterprise Application and Business Analytics vision for Neptune.
• Participate as part of the Senior Leadership Team for Neptune, working to translate strategy into the delivery of enabling technologies that make it easier for customers and suppliers to do business with us as well as support the P&L of the overall business.
• Financial planning including annual budget, forecasting and cost tracking, work estimation, funding requests, application total cost of ownership Requirements Education:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Experience & Skills:
    • Ten or more years of experience in technology management, leadership, and operations positions, with responsibility for budget and department administration.
    • Ten or more years of experience delivering and supporting complex Enterprise Software ecosystems (ERP, CRM, MES, PLM) and Analytics applications and processes.
    • Proven ability to integrate modern technology and legacy platforms, experience with SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.
    • Ten or more years of experience leading across the following domains information management, enterprise application development, SDLC, QA, agile and lean delivery methodologies, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
    • Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
    • Proven leader who has built technical delivery teams and fostered a positive and productive culture
    • Strong leadership skills, analytical and technical skills.
    • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. 10 % Travel Required.
