SCS Interiors is seeking to add an additional Account Manager to our team. This person will work directly with our corporate clients and facilitate their entire order process.Company Profile Located in Duluth Minnesota, SCS Interiors is an industry leader in aerospace interior upholstery. We also serve clients within marine, transportation, healthcare and other sectors. We design, cut, and sew upholstery for our clients using state of the art equipment with style, comfort, and security in mind. We've been in business for over 30 years and serve clients locally and worldwide.Position Summary The Account Manager will lead the company's relationship with their assigned customers while internally conducting purchase order reviews, facilitating with other departments, creating and distributing the job travelers and ensuring the project is completed as scheduled. There is a good mix between human interaction (internally and externally) as well as information analysis and data entry into our system.ResponsibilitiesRequirements* Operate as the point of contact for assigned clients/projects* Develop long term relationships with contacts; interacting via phone and email regularly; occasionally via video conference or in-person at SCS.* Receive & review POs; communicate pricing and lead times to clients* Facilitate with other internal departments regularly (purchasing, estimating, production, quality, CAD, etc.)* Attend internal planning meetings as needed* Accurately create work orders and job travelers in order for the product to be made* Follow up with order status and report back to the customer as neededThis person will be responsible for managing multiple clients and projects at once so excellent organization and cooperation is important.Required Skills/Abilities* Time management* Attention to detail* Organization* Effective written & verbal communication* Strong Decision Making* Project Management* Follow through* Ability to work independently and collaboratively* Problem Solving* Ability to use a PC and related computer programs (MS Office, Gmail/Outlook, Nitro, etc)Desired Skills* Knowledge of sewing or upholstery* Familiarity with an ERP System (we use E2 Shop)Education & Experience* Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or a related field and 2+ years of work experience in a role with similar or transferrable skills or;* Five+ years of work experience in a similar role with transferrable skills.* Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not requiredBenefitsSchedule Monday - Thursday 7 30-5pm and Friday 8a-12p. This position is 100% in the office at our facility (no remote work available).
