Job Description:
SmartSource has a client in need of a Data Center Engineer for a
direct hire in Duluth, MN. This is an onsite position.Job Type:
Direct HireLocation: Duluth, MNDuties and Responsibilities:*
Research, design, implement, test, and maintain data center
infrastructure* Data Center security hardening, reporting, and
incident investigation* Performance and capacity planning for the
data center infrastructure* Create or update technical
documentation for data center installations or changes to existing
installations* Design, configure and install custom infrastructure
solutions for Data Center customersRequired Qualifications:* Deep
understanding of servers, storage, operating systems,
virtualization, security, network infrastructure, backup/restore
and disaster recovery* Ability to work independently * 5+ years'
experience with: VMware, VSphere/ESXi products including
Clustering, DRS, HA and dSwitchs; FC and iSCI SAN/NAS appliances;
Windows and Linux servers, HPE Servers/Switches/Storage* 2+ years
post-secondary education in related fieldPreferred--Qualifications
* Current vendor certifications from VMware, HPE, Microsoft,
CompTIA, Fortinet, and/or Juniper highly desired
